ILGA is a United Nation (UN) Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) for LGBTI people. It is the oldest LGBTI organisation advocating for LGBTI rights at the UN. ILGA Oceania is the sub-division of ILGA administering work in the Oceania Region, i.e. the region encompassing Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands.

ILGA holds a biennial World Conference. ILGA Oceania also holds an Oceania-focused regional biennial conference (every alternate year), held in different countries around the Oceania region. These conferences are attended by many representatives of LGBTI organisations and/or LGBTI individuals from many countries.
